The International Realist Thinking & Arts Renaissance was founded by Dr. Drew Albright to network existing reality based organizations in a variety of fields including Arts and Education, and offer the opportunity for other like-minded individuals and organizations to join and cooperate in forwarding basic realist values and methods of thinking as laid out by the Institute for Reality Studies, the founding Institute for the field of Reality Studies, under the direction of the Father of Reality Studies, Dr. Gil Eriksen.
The Realist Renaissance, with its members and member organizations, embodies high functioning, high style, and highly cooperative modern living, and devalues competitive and conniving approaches which most commonly result in death and destruction. Its mission is to offer a networking and mutually beneficial environment for those that have stepped out of social conformity and staid ideas and wish to continue to develop practical and realistic approaches to living and problem solving.
Our Manifesto is as follows:
To confront and address a worldwide social environment that has historically and habitually operated out of valuing deceit as a way of life.
Deceit has most often taken the form of methods of conniving, intimidation, extorting, and exploiting.
We will move to change the value perspective to one of cooperation that includes ideas and methods of interdependence, resolutions of mutual benefit, and the promotion of values that are real and workable to include longevity and pleasure.
